Nike Women's Free RN Distance 2

Built for long-distance comfort without sacrificing ultimate flexibility, the Free RN Distance 2 running shoe provides Lunarlon inner cushioning for miles of soft responsiveness and interlocked hexagonal flex grooves in the sole to ensure natural motion, step after step. Nike's signature Flywire cables ensure comfortable, snug lockdown to keep feet in place, while single-layer engineered mesh provides breathability and cool comfort, even on the longest runs. The biggest changes to the Free RN 2 are the pull-tab on the heel for an easier time slipping the shoes on, and a free-floating internal bootie that hugs the foot when the laces are tightened. The tristar cuts in the bottom of the shoe are a change, but like the previous hexagonal pattern, they encourage six-direction flexibility. There is no outsole on this shoe, but the midsole is a little bumpy to provide traction. True to its Nike Free pedigree, the Free RN distance is best suited to an efficient, neutral runner and may take a little time to get used to. Your calves might feel a little sore and need a little more attention and/or rest when starting to train with this shoe. Offset: 4 mm. Weight: 8.8 oz. men’s, 7 oz. women’s
